The Golden Rule
What is the Golden Rule?
The Golden Rule is a helpful rule that reminds us to treat others as we would like them to treat us. If you follow this rule, it can help you create positive friendships and make the people around you feel safe and happy.

Think Before You Act
Before speaking or acting, take a moment to think about how your actions could make others feel. When you pause and think this way, it gives you time to help make choices that promote kindness and respect.
Saying I’m Sorry is Important!
Everyone makes mistakes. But if you make a mistake or hurt someone's feelings, it’s important that you take responsibility for what you did, even if you didn’t mean to hurt their feelings.
Listen to your friend if they are telling you how you hurt them, and tell them you’re sorry. When you tell your friend how sorry you are, it shows that you care about them and your friendship.
