Feeling attracted to someone is normal. You may feel like exploring your sexual or physical feelings and you should know that it is normal. But before you try physical stuff in a relationship you should be aware of a few things:
Consent
Consent is permission to have sexual activity. You should ‘ASK’ if you want to have sex with your partner and give permission if your partner asks you. You and your partner have all the right to say ‘YES’ or ‘NO’.
Protection/Contraception
Contraception - Also known as birth control. Having sex can get you or your partner pregnant. You should talk to someone you trust to discuss about contraception. Condoms are the easiest method of contraception.
Safety
Sex is supposed to be safe and enjoyable. It is important to show respect and care when you get intimate.
STDs/STIs
It is important to know that you can get certain diseases or infections if you have sex with someone carrying the disease. The best way to protect yourself is using protection while having sex, Condom is the easiest method of protection.
